Travel with
Gator Chess Club
Each Fall and Spring semester, Gator Chess Club sends its members around the country (and as of Fall 2023, out of the country!) to compete in various chess tournaments.
All prizes won by traveling members are their own to keep.
Domestic trips fully funded
Funded items include all travel, lodging, and tournament entry fees.
Due to funding restrictions, Gator Chess Club can not pay for USCF/FIDE membership fees or food on these trips.
travel requirements
Traveling members must be a full-time UF student and 18 or older at the time of travel.
Club members must attend at at least 50% of club meetings to be eligible for travel.
